Elevators

800 Gessner

The building and garage are equipped with 6 elevators providing service to the following areas: 

  • Four passenger elevators serving the lobby floor to 12th floor
  • One freight elevator serving the lobby floor to 12th floor
  • One passenger elevator serving the parking garage Levels 1(A) – 6(F) 

820 Gessner

The building and garage are equipped with 10 elevators providing service to the following areas: 

  • Three high-rise passenger elevators serving 11th – 18th floor
  • Four low-rise passenger elevators serving Lobby – 10th floor
  • One freight elevator serving the Basement to 18th floor
  • Two passenger elevators serving the parking garage Levels 1(A) – 10(J) 

840 Gessner

The building and garage are equipped with 10 elevators providing service to the following areas: 

  • Six passenger elevators serving Lobby - 14th floor
  • One freight elevator serving the Lobby – 14th floor
  • Three passenger elevators serving the parking garage Levels 1(A) – 10(J) 

The freight elevator must be used for all deliveries (See “Delivery Services” section). Circumstances requiring use of the freight elevator at length are to be coordinated through the Property Management Office, and must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance for after hours and weekend usage. 

After your initial move into the building, we request that your Company continue to schedule use of the freight elevator through the Property Management Office. 

Elevator Emergencies

All elevators in the building and garage are equipped with emergency phones linked to a 24 hours answering service.  The phone is activated by pressing the push-to-call button located on the elevator panel or behind the panel door. 

If the elevator malfunctions or stops, press and release the call button.  Each elevator will have an elevator identification number on the panel.  Tell the person responding to your call which elevator you are in and approximately which floor you are stopped on. Elevator mechanics are on call, and they can respond to an emergency call from Security or the Property Management Office.
